This is an original WWII production Japanese type 90 helmet. It is a size small, and is stamped on the inside of the skirt with a small diamond indicating it was made by Seiko of Kobe. The helmet was repainted by the Chinese probably for service in the Civil War or the Korean War. The good news is other than the paint no further modifications were made to the helmet. All three of the liner mounting brackets are present and no other holes were drilled in the helmet. This is a great shell for someone who wants a neat restoration project. I am happy to take offers.
