This flying model was designed by Speed Robertson, engineered by Reginald Denny. This model qualifies for Four Flying Aces Club events: Jimmie Allen, Old Time Rubber, Old Time Two-Bit Rubber, and Embryo. It is a pre-1942 design which is eligible for Society of Antique Modelers (SAM) contests.

This listing is for a new in-box rubber power free flight model airplane kit from Easy Built Models. This is a pre-1942 design. . It will take us older geezers back to our earlier years when all we could afford was a rubber powered airplane.

Jimmy Allen was a fictional character popular in the 1930\'s (before my time) during the \"Golden Age of Aviation\" in America. Easy Built Models has a nice article about Jimmy Allen and the many airplanes mentioned in the episodes of this fictional character. Since this is not a scale model of a real airplane, I call it “scale like.”

This laser cut free flight rubber powered model airplane kit includes a full size rolled plan along with building and flying instructions. The balsa parts and strip wood are laser cut from hand-picked competition weight balsa wood. Bright colored Easy Built Lite tissue is included. Power is provided by the enclosed FAI Super Sport rubber motor, an E-B propeller, and an EBM thrust button. Landing gear wire and wheels are included. Clear plastic is provided for the windows and one pair of Jimmie Allen TissueCal™ markings complete the kit. You will need a hobby knife, fine sandpaper, building board, straight pins and glue.
