This is a one of a kind JD 541 front 540 RPM PTO attachment for the 200 Series Lawn and Garden Tractors. Model number is EO541, and the serial number is: 001438M. The entire unit was disassembled, media blasted to bare metal, and overhauled in accordance with John Deere SM-2105 manual. Gears were inspected and found in superior condition, the inner JD9890, and outer JD9891 needle bearings were replaced, (4) M43805 thrust washers were replaced. Gear box was then resealed and painted with Nason single stage enamel. I obtained from John Deere blueprint copies of the original AM35986 Belt shield, and then fabricated a duplicate for this installation. The belt idler AM37249 was also replaced with a factory new unit, (2) M43820 drive belts, a used (serviceable) AM37249 idler, and the left hand mount for the PTO gear box are also included. See pictures. The gear box belt pulley was replaced with the factory correct (AM31988) at the time ofreassembly. Allfasteners have been replaced. This is a job ready PTO, and has been function tested on my 216 L&G Tractor. All remaining partswere then powdered coated. Ships in a secure wood crate.
