Offered is a genuine WWII U.S. Military fighting knife manufactured by the Union Cutlery Company known for their Ka-Bar knives. This knife, a guard marked USN Mark 2, is #15 as shown at the lower left on page 118 of Howard Coles excellent book “The Best of U.S. Military Knives, Bayonets and Machetes”. The knife has been sharpened post factory but not overly so and it retains most of its original dark parkerized finish. The leather washer handle is in great shape, shiny with solid washers throughout. The guard is very slightly loose. The pommel is tight. Sorry, no sheath.
