This modern letter press is in outstanding condition, retains all factoryparts, has been very carefully disassembled, all machined steel and cast metal parts have beenthoroughly cleaned, polished andre-finished with high quality industrial hammered enamel, lubricated and inspected,mounted to a finished wood base with non slip rubber feet, fine tuned, tested and set up to print right from the crate.

This Mercury Model U is the most modern of the Kelsey presse, manufactured from 1970 until 1985, and is equipped with the adjustable roller carriage stop mechanism and locking type bed screws.

This machine will utilize and acceptstandardheight (.918\'\')copper, brass or magnesium engraved blocks, all forms of letterpress type, as well as Ludlow or Linotype cast set lines.

These presses are no longer in production, therefore continue to increase in value.

The Press measures 23\'\' long x 16\'\' high x 11\'\' wide and weighs 65 lbs set up with rollers and trucks intact.

The Platen measures 9.25\" x 6.50\'\'

The inside Chase measures 8.00\'\' x 5.00\"
