Spectacular and hard to find Kenwood by Wehrle Stove Co 30 gal butcher stove. This is all cast iron with cows heads and corn embossed all around the top of the stove. The stove is all there. The feet are animal feet with what looks like corn husks on the top. The door and draft control are there. Since the draft control is not attached, it is wonder that it stayed with the stove. The 30 gallon kettle is not cracked or broken and fits into the top of the stove. The stove has not been burned out or warped. The sides are straight. There is surface rust. The floor panel has a crack as seen in 2 pics. Unless you plan on rendering some animal I don't think it distracts from the stove. If you are a purist it can be treated with stove cement or the plate can be recasted. it has 2 handles on either side. The kettle is marked "warranted 30 gal". I have collected a lot of stoves but this one is really without a doubt one of the best. I have only seen one other and it was used in a picnic to boil a bushel of corn on the cobb.
This stove had been made @ late 1880's ,by Wehrle Stove co Newark Ohio, and has been in a barn for nearly 80 -90 years.
