Welcome.Iam offering a wonderful handmade folk art pottery pig. Made in Georgia and signed by potter Kim T.Black 2000with dark cobalt blue glaze. Pig measures approx. 7 1 /4\" long, approx. 4 1/2\", and approx. 4 1 /4\" wide across the front feet. Not broken or chipped. On the bottom is a raised area that shows white on photo where it was sitting when firing.Awesome pig made by a good potter for your collection. (br)
In the early 1980\'s Kim Black apprenticed with one of the oldestand best known Meaders pottery family in Georgia. He became well known for his face jugs and pigs. In 2004 he decided to move to California and stopped making pottery.
