There is spotty wear throughout the surface of the clock. One of the wooden leaf designs on the front of the clock is loose. A decorative wooden piece on the front of the clock appears to have previously broken off and been repaired. The decorative finial on the left bottom of the clock is broken off. There are areas of possible surface loss and possible glue residue throughout some areas of the clock. There are several small nicks throughout the decorative wooden pieces of the clock and around the edges of the clock. The left side door of the clock does not fully close. One of the cuckoo birds is missing and the other shows heavy wear. There is some scratching on the sides and back of the clock. There are also areas of scuffing/surface loss and white paint drops on the back of the clock.There are several small holes/nicks on the top of the clock. The clock chains show heavy metal wear and possible spotty rusting. Both clock hands are intact and are not bent or broken. There are a couple of broken off pieces included (including the leaf pendulum) that each show heavy wear. Three pine cone shaped weights are included. They each show heavy metal wear, paint loss, and heavy spotty rusting.
\"Kuehl Clock Co. Chicago Made in Germany\" is engraved around the inner part of the dial.
