Lab Line Equatherm 299-776 Double Door Laboratory Oven

Up for sale is a used Lab Line Equatherm 299-776 Double Door Laboratory Oven. This item is in good condition with some minor cosmetic wear from normal use. There are a few minor scuff marks and scratches on the outside of the item but this does not effect the functionality of the item. The function buttons are in good condition but the item is missing the \"up\" button. The display is in good condition with no cracks or chips.The internal structureof the item is in good condition with some minorsigns of normal use. The power cabledoes have a significant amount ofcracks and dry rot and should be replaced. Please refer to the photos below for more details on the item.

This item was plugged in and powered on with no problems. We set the item to the maximum temperature and let the item sit for 30 minutes. The item automatically began heating up and the digital display showed the temperature was rising. After the 30 minutes was over we measure the internal temperature with a digital thermometer and it read 40.6 degrees Celsius. The digital display stated 55 degrees. We are unsure if the display is stating the actual temperature or the temperature the item is set to. We then tested it again 10 minutes later and it read 44 degree Celsius. This itemlooks to be functional but since we are unable to test the complete functionalityof the item we are required to sell this item as is.
