Here is a good deal on a proven whopper catchin\' fly rod. This is a tough-as-nails G1000 series Lamiglas fly rod that is suited to big salmon, stripers, and light tuna work. This rod has been used and still has salmon blood on the grip from last fall. It is labeled as a 10 weight, but it can handle heavier lines. There is a scratch in the epoxy over one of the ferrule wraps, but it doesn\'t scratch the actual blank itself. These rods are designed for saltwater and heavy freshwater work. I can verify that it has the backbone to handle big river salmon.
