The first roller crushes clods, removes air pockets, presses down small stones forming a smooth, firm seedbed in front of the seed drop. The second roller splits the ridges formed by the first roller to firm soil around the seed and ensure a proper seed placement.  The rear notched rollers create small pockets that trap moisture. Seeds are placed in the top 1/4 to 1/2 inch of soil to insure rapid germination.  

This seeder is perfect for new lawns, food plots, and smaller farms.
