This antique Chinese ancestral painting is quite rough around the edges and has some abrasions in the background. The image of the ancestor himself is in quite good condition. I bought this at an estate sale in Northern NH and it was touted as 18th century however I am no expert and so will leave that up to buyers to determine. It had been stored in an attic for quite a number of years on its bottom edge so the piece, being unframed, has a bit of a curve to it. Please look carefully at my pictures as they are the best description and please feel free to ask questions. The painting measures about 47 1/2\" tall by 28\" wide.
