Nicely made withDOVETAIL corners. Drawer below, meant to catch the ground coffee, is also madewith DOVETAIL corners for strength. STILL HAS SOME ORIGINAL ANTIQUE GROUNDCOFFEE IN THE DRAWER REMAINING FROM 100 YEARS AGO!!! Top is cast iron, withlong iron handle/wooden knob to turn to provide the grinding action. Top alsohas sliding top to enable putting in the coffee beans. The grinder mechanism isinside, between this and the drawer.

Nice early itemfrom a Massachusetts estate. Nice piece for an early decorator in a kitchen ordining room. Base measures 6\" x 6\", body measures 5\" x 5\" x4 1/2\" high. Handle is 6\" long. Overall height is 11”. Fairly standardmeasurements from what I can tell.
