Finest early Zuni snake eye turquoise pin I\'ve run across in the many decades I\'ve collected. Even under lighted magnification I cannot detect a single chipped or cracked stone. I\'ve not run across this particular design before either. The quality of the craftsmanship and turquoise along with the matching dangle hanging from the main pin body makes this a very special vintage Zuni art piece.

Stones: 44 snake eye cabochons that appear to be a mix of several different kinds of turquoise. Average diameter is 2mm, with a number of the more porous ones displaying that wonderful color change over time from blue to green. Please keep in mind you are looking at highly magnified images of stone color and detail under bright photography lamps. Also, photography tends to accentuate the color blue more than the natural eye does.

Size: 2 1/4\" H x 2 1/4\" W. To further help in visualizing actual size see hand photos. I wear an XL men\'s glove.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition including pin and latch.
