This lovely zither was modeled after the Renaissance zithers and as such produces a hauntingly beautiful sound, unachievable by today\'s auto harps. The scalloped fret board makes fretting easy. The scalloped fret boards as this one has are rarely seen on stringed instruments due to the high cost of making them.Note to buyers:Item for sale is not new in box, but it was purchased new and never played.
