The early Leslie speaker systems sound wonderful, both in the studio and in live performances. The best sounding versions, treasured by musicians are tube based models from the 50s and 1960s. They\'re quite reliable in general -- by now many are at least half a century old, and the motors or bearings can fail, leaving you with out that wonderful spinning doppler effect sound!
This is a surviving, low hours (from a seldomly used, cared for Leslie), the Bass, woofer baffle drive motor, with mounted pulley, and mounting flange with cloth belt and original plug from a very early 1950\'s model 50C. The 50C- one of the cooler models featuring a field coil 15\" Jensen woofer, and great Jensen HF (treble) driver, was generally used with a variety of Conn organs, and may be used with other systems as well(research your fitment).
This motor is all original, just plugged it in and it sprang to life, smoothly and very quietly. Needs a good dusting, little lube otherwise good for many years. From the Leslie 50C, and it may fit other years and models. Includes a old looking, OK feeling, flexible and serviceable original rope / cord belt (refer to exhibit A and B, and diagram).
