Lionel #2235W Die-cast Tender Marketed with the225E- FewFlaws

This is a LionelPrewar sought afterBlack Journal Truck Tender fromSteve\'s Train City in Minnesota. It just blew in the door from the original owner John.This #2235W Die-cast Tender was made in 1938-42 to go with a 225E andis missing the bottom screws, a rear step and back handrail. It has some tape residue on the side to clean off but otherwise is in nice condition.Our metal case whistle motor works and needs the roller wires replaced. A little TLC could upgrade this piece from Very Good.The itemhas a rarity rating of3 on the scale of 5.Look at the quality in the pictures and consideritthis week. We are listing it reasonable and without a reserve.
