LIONEL #81840 UNION PACIFIC CA-4 CABOOSE

Offered for sale is an uncommon Lionel #81840 Union Pacific Standard \"O\" CA-4 Caboose which was only produced in 2014. It is in Factory New/Brand New condition: all original and unused. This attractive Union Pacific CA-4 Caboose appears to be brand new, but it may have been test run at the factory, thus it cannot be considered Mint. The condition of this caboose is based on appearance only, and I did not test it for operating performance. It is decorated in the basic yellow paint scheme that Union Pacific used during the era of the famous UP Big Boy Steam Engines. It has a brown roof, a yellow and brown cupola, a yellow body, yellow car ends with red ladders, and it has perfect red lettering and clean, crisp, realistic Union Pacific and markings. It comes with interior LED illumination, an operating smoke unit with an on/off switch, a detailed and painted interior with train crew figures and with die-cast metal trucks. It also comes with an original owner\'s manual and with a clean and complete, original Lionel window box. The box shows just a little wear on the box label, the window edges and the front panel, but otherwise it is a nice, whole box. The caboose does not come with Lionel smoke fluid, since Lionel apparently has had too many problems with the smoke fluid leaking and has stopped including the fluid. This sharp-looking Union Pacific CA-4 Caboose would be a perfect match with any of the various Lionel UP diesel or steam engines, and it would certainly be a very welcome addition to any collection or operating railroad!
