Up for sale today is \"Little Love,\" a 16\" American Character composition and cloth doll. She is marked : AM. CHAR. DOLL on the back of her neck. She has composition head and hands and a stuffed cloth body. She has brown, molded, painted hair. It has some scratches and one small area of cracking in the hairline. She has blue glass sleep eyes with all of her lashes. She is closed mouth with a bit of rubbing on her lips. Her slightly blushed cheeks are adorable (even though she does have 1 scuff mark). Her hands are in great condition with only some very limited, minor crazing (and some dirt!). The stuffed body is in good shape but the crier no longer works. She comes wearing her vintage nightgown, slip, bloomers and bonnet ( the pink fur lined sweater is not included in this sale). She also has booties that are a little less vintage, but vintage non the less. The April 1942 issue of \"Playthings\" magazine ran a full-page advertisement for \"Little Love\" calling this doll the perfect replica of a 2 month old baby. She sure is sweet!---*pink sweater not included*---
