In the case of a betta that does not survive Express/Overnight shipping, please send aCLEARphoto of UNOPENED bag and then of deceased betta OUT of bag within1 hourof arrival. If you do not follow these instructions, I am unable to help you on cases where bettas arrive deceased. Additionally, contact MUST be made within the hour after arrival, I am unable to refund or replace in cases where contact is made hours or days later. Once the Betta is out of the bag, any further care is completely out of the my hands - water conditions, temperature, proper adjusting in the new environment, etc- is up to the buyer and none of this can be covered under guarantee
