Lot 2 Vtg Cloth Face Costumes Dolls: GREECE & SLOVENIA w Embroidered Shaw / Lace

Up for sale is a vintage lot of 2 costume dolls. Both have cloth faces. The one in red is from Greece. The face is painted. Her velvet dress is accented with beading and lace trim. She\'s marked Greece on her leg tights. She\'s 7.25\" tall. The other doll is very well crafted but not marked. I was told by a helpful er that she is from Slovenia. Her facial features have been embroidered with thread. Her shaw is hand embroidered as well with flowers. She has a fine woven gold thread chain. Her shoes are leather and she has a brace on ankles to help her stand--with some balance involved. There are some little holes in her clothing in spots--her mesh hat, a sleeve, a shoulder of her shaw, a spot on the back of her purple skirt for example. Her hair is lovely--likely mohair. It\'s 8.5\" tall. I purchased these dolls at an estate sale and am uncertain of their age but believe them to be several decades old.
