Item is in perfect working order.While moving from East Coast to West Coast, cosmetically suffered, front glass is cracked, and wooden case has chips and scratch, which do not affect its functionality, but it hurts me to see how for not being present while it was packed, my faithful am / fm receiver was scared.

The Luxman R-1040 is a new receiver with the outstanding Lux pedigree at modest cost.

It has a genuine output of at least 40 watts continuous per channel into 8 ohms from 20Hz to 20,000Hz with no more than 0.05% total harmonic distortion.

For the first time in this class of receiver an LED indicator was used to give instantaneous peak power output indication.
