Lycoming IO 360A1A removed from a 66 Mooney M20E. This is a 200hp engine. Serial number L-11067-51A Engine did suffer a prop strike, the crankshaft was dialed and was .005. Engine is sold with accessories as shown in picture. One valve cover is dinged but no other damage on the engine. Engine was manufactured new in 1973. The engine total time is 2823.9 hours. According to the logs (which are complete) a major overhaul was done at 1087.3 hours, however the entry for the overhaul reads:
"Total time 1087.3 Date 10-7-90. Removed Engine and disassembled to replace camshaft and cam followers. Reassembled enging using new main and rod bearing, bolts, rings, valves, valve spring, pistons, piston pins. New fuel pump and new injector servo. engine assembled by lycoming O/H manual. Aircraft test flown 2 hours and found to have normal operation. Work done by repair station #MP3R602L."No mention of crankshaft or case being inspected in overhaul, engine logs later refer to this being a major overhaul and that the time of removal the engine had 1736.6 hours since major overhaul and had a top overhaul at total time 2040 hours, 800 hours on top overhaul.Log books are complete since new. Last compression check 6/09/08 was #1 74/80, #2 76/80, #3 76/80, #4 74/80. Engine has been stored in a dry hangar since the accident in 2008. This engine has had a PROP STRIKE, and no inspection has been done since.Shipping will be by frieght my best guess for shipping will be between $400-$500 in the lower 48, might be less might be more.
