We have for you today a piece of history, particularly Jamaican and English history. This is a vintage machete made between 1914 and 1920 by Robert Mole & Sons in England, we determined this because in 1914 they started selling these machetes to the public instead of just governments. Robert Mole & Sons made these machetes and shipped them to Jamaica and other countries so they could be used in the fields on plantations, in Jamaica particularly they were used in sugar cane fields. This piece is in excellent condition with no nicks or folds in the edge of the blade, it is marked with Robert Mole & Sones and has the Steamer Registered marking as well. The model of this machete is No 350L, it is made from the highest quality bevel-edged steel. The blade itself measures 17\", the handle measures 11.25\", total length is 28.25\" and it weighs 1 LB 14 OZ. This is a very cool piece and would be a great edition to any edged weapons collector.
