MAGNAVOX D2935 RADIO PLL DIGITAL WORLD BAND RECEIVER,FM,MW,FULL SW , HAM SSB .
LOOKS LIKE THIS IS THE NEWER ( BETTER )VERSION OF THIS MODEL- WITH THE BLUE POWER BUTTON.
ALL FUNCTIONS ARE WORKING FINE. I HAVE NEVER FOUND ANY CONTROLS- KNOBS- WHAT WAS WORKING THIS FINE IN VINTAGE RADIOS.
ALL MEMORY ARE GOOD WORKING. BACK LIGHT IS GOOD FOR THE LCD READOUT. NO SEGMENT PROBLEM ALL DISPLAYS WHAT SHOULD BE THERE.
I did not tested the external antenna input- it was not necessary. Radio works great with the very durable pull up antenna.
I created a new template for this radio so it is on it. There are no more cracks on the keyboard.
It looks like new.
I also include a CD ROM with Service Manual and User\'s Manual on it.
All the files , the printable new template large picture files are on CD ROM.
Radio works great just I have too many radios and no way to keep it all.
This one was tested - face to face with my wide band scanners and other PLL radios- the set was an absolute winner. I heard the HAM conversation partner on this Magnavox what I did not received with the other sets. This is a serious DX receiver with low noise level and high sensitivity- I think.
See other sources of information for more details or specification.
I tested with batteries and 120 volt AC line voltage. Radio is switchable to 220- 240 Volt line voltages as well as 12 volt DC. Headphone connector is 1/4 \" type, mono.
There is a Line Out connector, RCA type. For external antenna - separated for AM and FM -is on the right side of the radio. All other functions and digital display are on the front.
I do have the original power cord so I will send it with the radio. No battery included- it means you will receive the radio with empty un-programmed memory( Easy to program or use the memory. )
Selling it as is- a great working vintage but excellent sensitive receiver.
I may keep the radio if not sell for first time run. It is just good working I may find it too good to sell in the future.
