Up for sale is a great Legend of all times, Marantz CD-73 player madein Japan,one of the first CD players ever build in the early 80’s. This CD player is in excellent condition for it age. It has fewfading marks on top of the cover and but nothing serious. The units are veryclean with hardly any defects. Overall is in great condition 9 out of 10. You may be able to seethem on the pictures I have provided.

Unfortunately cd player stop working and does not start the disc. Itneeds new chip which is control operational system, so laser is still good but due to this factor it is sold as is noreturn or warranty. All other things like display lights, open closetransport are working with no faults.

This unit when working produces very beautiful analog sound using a LegendaryCDM 0 transport, 14bit twin DAC, TDA-1540D and a SAA7030. This unit looksreally great in champagne gold color with transport draw popping out.

This player comes complete with Marantzremote control receiver system RC-430, in working condition and original ownersmanual.

The CD player weighs approximately 9 kg.
