This sale is for a McIntosh C28 pre-amp. This pre-amp is in amazing condition. Considering its age it is quite amazing that this thing looks this good. It\'s almost like new. I have been using it for some time and so far it works perfectly. I have tested all inputs and outputs, knobs and dials. They are currently working. I purchased it from the original owner, along with several other pieces, many of which look this good. Please note that there are a few small scratcheson the top rear (I assume they were from when it was mounted, 40 years ago,and they are pretty minor. They are visible in the images.) Also, the sticker on the top front that gives theknob information, is faded across the middle (I don’t know exactly how thishappened but it is where the unit was mounted and somehow it faded, perhapsfrom heat, I don’t really know).I will insure when shipped, and therefore guarantee that it will not be DOA (if it does, it will be from damage during shipping, as I have pictured the unit powered up with all lights on). Beyond that, please understand that I am NOT the original owner and if it turns out something needs to be repaired, recapped (for example), shakes itself loose during shipping, etc. that this is your responsibility, due simply to the age of the equipment. I am offering NO other warranty on this equipment. It will be well packaged so that it will arrive in as good a condition as possible. Shipping time on this will be longer than I usually take. I need to make sure it is packaged well, and have put that I may take up to 5 business days to get it shipped out. If this is not okay, please do NOT buy this pre-amp! Email with any questions.
