MID-CENTURY DINING TABLE WITH 6 CHAIRS & 2 LEAVES BY J.L METZ #6778

This is a gorgeous Dining Table with 6 Chairs and 2 Leaves in good original condition, and the Table & the Leaves have a charming light/medium stain finish. This Dining Set was produced by J. L. Metz, a fine American furniture manufacturer. The Table and Chairs are made out of wood, solid wood, and veneer, see pictures. This classic Dining set has a wonderful mid-century style design, see pictures, and the Tables and the Chairs have gorgeous round tapered legs with Brass-finish/Brass-plated ferrule caps on the bottom. This Dining Table has straight wood supports on each side that are joined to the legs via curved Brass-finish/Brass-plated connectors on each side, see pictures. The Dining Table and the Leaves haveBrass-finish/Brass-plated accents around the side edges, see pictures, and the Table has an unusual curved design on the top. This Table can be used without the Leaves, or it can be expanded when you have company over, see pictures. Two Leaves come with the Table, however this Dining Table can be expanded to accommodate three Leaves. An additional Leaf can be made for this Table from old wood to match the Table as closely as possible. Ask us for details about making an additional Leaf for this set if you are interested. The 2 Arm Chairs and the 4 Side Chairs have interesting Burl veneer on the seat-backs, and they haveupholstered seats and Brass-finish/Brass-plated accent pieces on the tops, see pictures. The 2 Arm Chairs also have Brass-finish/Brass-plated accents pieces on the arms, see pictures, and the arms of these Chairs are wide and angled outwards for comfort. The fabric on the Chairs has some wearing imperfections and visible aging spots, see pictures, we recommend having them re-upholstered. Ask us for a quote on re-upholstery/re-finishing. This Dining Table and the 6 Chairsarein sturdy and secure condition for daily use, with some imperfections here and there properto their age andas part oftheir wear & tear, see pictures. There are some visible aging imperfections on the finish of the Table, on the legs of the Table, and there are some aging imperfections and scratches on the Leaves, see pictures. There are some scratches and visible aging imperfections on the tops of the Chairs and on the legs, see pictures. There are some wearing spots and imperfections on the arms of the 2 Arm Chairs, see pictures, and there are some aging imperfections, wearing, and fading spots on the Brass-finish/Brass-plated accent pieces and ferrule caps on the Chairs and on the Table.
