This Halifax 1/24 scale model with a 54\" wingspan is based on the details offered in Aircraft Profile No. 11 [color profile sheet pictured below & included with plans]. The model carries the markings of \"Vicky\", the Vicious Virgin of 408 Squadron (RCAF). Engines used in the prototype were two A.M. 15s and two Marown Snipes. The model has won scale events and provided a most realistic flying display.

The Handley Page Halifax was one of the four-engine heavy bombers of the RAF during the Second World War. A contemporary of the famous Avro Lancaster, the Halifax remained in service until the end of the war, performing a variety of duties in addition to bombing. The Halifax was also operated by squadrons of the Royal Canadian Air Force, Royal Australian Air Force, Free France Air Force, and Polish forces, and after the Second World War by the Royal Egyptian Air Force, theArmee de l\'Air and the Royal Pakistan Air Force.
