Click to View Image Album If you want to know what people in 1901 were purchasing, look no further than this Montgomery Ward catalog 69. It contains over 1100 pages full of men\'s, women\'s, and children\'s fashions, furniture, toiletries, jewelry, practical and decorative household articles, bicycles, toys and dolls, farm equipment, guns, tools, etc. A handful of pages are printed on better quality paper and several are actually in full color.The catalog is in fair-good condition with many of the issues you would expect to find in a paper item that is over 115 years old - especially one printed on such cheap quality paper. The pages are tanned with age and many have small tears or creases on them. Some pages are missing corners. The front and back covers are detaching from the spine but are still holding on in a couple of spots. A sizable chunk of paper is missing from the spine. The vast majority of the pages remain bound together, but the first couple and the last couple are detached and it looks as though about ten pages of the first 30 are missing altogether. The front cover, though wrinkled, is in a little better condition than the back cover. The back cover, which shows a M.W. brand sewing machine, has some staining and missing paper on three of the corners.Despite these condition issues, this catalog is mostly intact and would provide invaluable reference. It\'s getting harder and harder to find these old, full-size catalogs.Shipping is $5.00.
