sale IS FOR LOCAL PICKUP offer is a used MTD lawn tractor. The engine runs good, but the transaxle is in need of repair. As can be seen in the photo of the rear view, the axle shaft bushings are worn. This tractor still works and mows, however it is in need of repair. The transaxle is the six speed model. The engine is a Briggs & Stratton 17 HP overhead valve. This tractor does not have a battery, however I can start it so it can be test driven.
