Mustang Boss 302 428 Cobra Jet 390 GT 1967 Thunderbird Air Cleaner Base and Lid:

This Air Cleaner was removed from a 1967 Thunderbird.The base of this air cleaner has the same height, diameter, and shape of the ones used on the 1969-70 Mustang Boss 302 and 428 CJ.The lid is the same as the Boss, CJ and some 390 GT applications.Some modification is required to make this base identical to the Boss or 428CJ. This is being sold as a Correct 67 T-bird non-emission air cleaner and it would be up to the buyer to perform any modifications to convert this into a Boss/CJ unit.Please view the photos. There is some rust on the lid but it can be rechromed if desired. The base needs a good cleaning or bead blasting and painting. The correct wing-nut is also included. This is a very good original 50 year old unit.
