This is for a peace demonstration in San Francisco on November 15, 1966 The New Mobilization West. The peace march began at 7AM at Pier 29 on the embarcadero and traveled to the Polo Fields in Golden Gate Park for the 2PM rally.
The central images are images of Good & Evil. The figure on the left raising his hand with a Peace gesture (looks like George Washington). The figure on the right wearing a helmet of war with 666, the sign of the incarnate of Evil along with a bandoleer of bullets across his chest. His fist sports a thumbs down gesture which can mean death. The text across the top is a quote from the Bible. Isaiah 2:4 … And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people … and they shall beat their swords into plow shares and their spears into pruning hooks. A rareposter from the times.
