$16.95

Striking! Beautiful sparkling metallic Fuchsia Dark Pink and Gold color trim on thisbiothane \"Snap On\" , \"Add On\" ,\"Convert A bridle\" , \"quick change\" style browband .

Make your own Halter Bridle combination with this browband and using your own headpiece and any halter

  • or just replace an existing browband
  • or bling up any halter by using the interior velcro lined loops that are engineered to prevent the browband from sliding down on halters.

Create a whole new wardrobe to match your riding apparel or suit the mood for the day, by just switching out a beautiful browband to mix and match with headpieces and halter parts that you already own.

If you ever had trouble with holding a bit with dangling bit hangers in your hand while trying to put the bit into your horse\'s mouth of a regular halter bridle, but like the idea of being able to take the bit off and leave the halter on easily. Than this may be the solution for you.

Instructions for one way to create a halter bridle combo:

Just put any halter you have on your horse.

  • Using a regular headstall(no throatlatch) that you own, run the poll piece throughthe interiorVelcrolined loops of the browband. You can choose to put the poll piece through 3 positions in the interior loop - forward, middle or back of the loop, by moving the clear keeper bands. Move the clear keeper bands close to each side of your poll piece to create a snug fit. See item description pictures near the end to view detail blow up of loop and poll piece insertion.
  • Bridle your horse like you normally would a regular bridle (without throatlatch).
  • Use the snap attachments to wrap around the poll piece of your halter on each side and snap to the browband.
  • You now have a halter bridle combo.
  • The bit is easy to remove without having to take the halter off.
  • No throat latch necessary.
  • It is fun to mix match your own collection of rope or web halters to create different combinations of halter bridles.
  • With theVelcrolining in the interior loops and the slider keeper bands, you can remove the browband and put it on a halter to bling up rope or web halters and hackamores without having to worry about the browband sliding down the sides.
  • We have also been told by some of our friends that the snap attachments make it easier for them to bridle an ear shy horse, when you get the appropriate size.
Materials:

  • 3/4\" gloss black, high flex style Biothane that is light weight; resistant to staining or abrasions and cracking. Middle weight strength. Made by Bioplastics company in the USA.
  • Pretty sparkling Fuchsia - Dark Pink - Gold color metallic tinsel velvet trim sewn on.
  • NO RUST Solid Brass Durable Line 24 snaps.
  • Interior loops are lined withVelcroand have adjustable power bands that keep the interior loop tight around what is inserted in them which keeps the browband from sliding down on most poll pieces as well as being able to size the interior loop down small to handle a variety of widths of poll pieces like rope halters or hackamores and up to 1.75\" wide poll pieces!
  • Browband is linedwith soft ,black , high quality heavy duty, Weaver Leather brand nylon webbing . This helps keep the Browband cleaner looking and puts a nice soft layer next your horse\'s head that gets even softer when moist.
  • Please be aware that picture colors can vary depending upon different monitor display settings as well as items photograph differently in full sunlight versus in the shade versus indoors.

Measurements -

  • 14\" between interior loops on browband running along the top of the browband
  • 1.75\" each interior Velcro lined loops on browband. These loops are positioned and used like loops on a regular browband. Room for 2 poll pieces side by side if desired or one poll piece used on a halter bridle combo.
  • 1.75\" each exterior loop created by snap on browband
  • Squished Flat, snaps shut, running along the the top of the browband this is about 19.5\" end to end.

  • To estimate whether this will fit your horse.

  • Get a regular straight non padded browband that fits your horse now.
  • Measure across the front of the brow band between the 2 poll piece loops. This corresponds to the 14\" measurement for this browband. The interior loops are larger than average size loops so that you can position your poll piece towards the front, middle or back of the loop for a better fit on different size poll/crown pieces and to fit a wider range of browband sizes starting from the 14\" measurement.
  • Please be aware that if you are wrapping the snap loop around a wide halter to create a halter bridle combo that the browband will be pulled backwards, so will need a little extra length, compared to just being used with a 1\" bridle poll piece or rope halter bridle configuration.
  • If you will not be using the interior loops to hold the browband up and will only be using the snap loops be sure and compare the \"end to end\" measurement to make sure the browband is not too big.
  • I o I modeled this size after a couple of similar style browbands of other brands that I boughtbeforeIstarted making my own tack. They sold this size style browband as \"horse size\".
  • PLEASE MEASURE your horse , because I have had people that had ponys whose forehead measured out at 16\" wide and warmbloods that measured only 12\" wide!!!!!!!!!
  • The horse modeling a similar browband in the same size is a 15H, 900lb refined horse. The poll piece was inserted through the interior loops and the exterior snap loop is wrapped around a rope halter.
Care Instructions:
  • Easy Care, just hose off and hang to dry.
  • Hand-washing with Dawn Dish washing detergent can remove heavy dirt.
  • Using WD40 occasionally on snaps will keep them working better
  • Tarnish on jewelry/hardware can be polished off with jewelry metal polish
  • Never use harsh chemicals or Oxyclean on coated or plated jewelry beads or decor.

Return and Payment Information:
  • Sorry no returns, I am not a big retailer. I am a senior citizen, fellow trail rider that hand crafts tack when I am not riding my horses.
  • I take PayPal payments.
  • Payment is expected within 7 days of winning offer.
  • Ask all questions before offerding. There is no easy way to cancel a offer.
Please LOOK at the pictures and READ ALL of the description, I try to fairly describe each item as accurately as possible BUT you must make the final decision on whether or not this will fit your horse or bridle! Even thoughI will be VERY SAD if you buy this browband and it does not fit, I cannotbe held responsible for determining what fits your horse. The best I can do is give you detail measurements. This is FAR better than buying a saddle on that ends up notfittingyour horse and there is no return on it. I have several saddles that I have bought where that has happened to me.
This is designed to snap around your own halter to create a halter bridle combination.
Endurance tack shops sell this as a \"convert a bridle\" style browband.
Lots of folks make biothane tack, I custom make these for Just4FunTack.
It is up to you to decide what fits your needs and budget.

Most browbands that I post on are offered at a price of \" less than the cost of materials\" after subtracting out shipping/packing/labeling costs, /Paypal fees, etc, so are a great deal IF they fit your horse.

CHECK OUT my other items. I have this in lots of different colors such as Royal Blue, Red, Gold, Orange, Fuchsia Pink Mix, Grape Purple, Dark Lilac Purple, Turquoise, Sea Foam Teal, Purple Turquoise mix, etc.

This is a very inexpensive way to collect a wardrobe of different colors and styles that can change the look of your tack easily to suit the riding mood for the day!
I will be clearing out my tack closet from now until the end of the year. I will be posting some old stock, odd sizes or new stuff I want to try out at prices far less than material costs. Once they are gone, there will not be another one priced like that again. You can see lots of photos of tack I have made at the photo gallery at Just4FunTack
