This is a very nice example of a German Prussian Officer\'s Artillery Sword which dates from the late 19th to early 20th Century. It is mounted with a slightly curved, fullered blade that measures 32 1/8 inches in length. The blade remains in very good, original condition with only some minor surface blemishes and is well marked by the maker \"Clemen & Jung Solingen\". The stirrup guard is mounted with an intricately detailed lion\'s head pommel and crossed cannons on the front languet and remains very nice and sturdy, framing a very healthy sharkskin covered hilt that continues to wear its original twisted wire wrap still tightly in place. The plated metal scabbard remains very nice as well and has no dings. Overall measuring 38 inches in length.
