We are pleased to offer, straight from a farm sale in the northeast a nice May Bell 4 String Banjo.. We were told this is from the 1920\'s or 30\'s. I believe the name of the banjo is named after MayBell Carter of the musical Carter family. I know very little. About banjos so I will describe as best I can. The banjo is approx. 32 3/4 inches long and is approx. 13 1/4 incessant in diameter and weighs approx 7.25 lbs. as I mentioned this came straight from a farm sale in the NE and has not been cleaned at all. I believe all u would need is some metal polish and wood polish to make this looking very nice. As u can see the very top is a nice mother of pearl with the name May Bell on it. The only negative I can see, other than being dirty is the back wood cover at the base has some waves possibly caused by age or moisture. Other than that the neck and side wood appears very nice. As I said I know very little about banjos so please feel free to ask for additional photos or ask questions. We are offering this at a ver low starting offer.
