NICELY QUILTED Vintage 1890\'s Red & White Cherry Basket Antique Quilt!

This elegant cotton 1890\'s red and white cherry basket quilt is hand pieced, machine appliqued (basket handles) and hand quilted.

It measures 74\" X 84\" and is in good condition, with age spotting (see photos), fade in places, and no wear.

There are straight line, cable, and feathered wreath designs quilted throughout at 7-8 stitches to the inch.

The back is white, the machine stitched binding is red, and the batting is thin. You can see cotton seed residue inside when you hold the quilt up to the light.
