The Mint of Poland is jubilant to announce issuing the series of silver collector coins, dedicated to the memory of the most renowned hetmans of the Ukraine.


The set designed to honour the memory of numerous merits and their activities of great hetmans for the Ukrainian state, present seven of all those owning a hetman mace, who proclaimed the idea of independence of Ukraine. Thanks to their great contribution in fight for independence , the names of hetman Bohdan Khmelnytsky, Petro Sahaidachnyi and Ivan Mazepa describe individual hisorical periods. Ivan Vyhovsky, Petro Dorofeyevych Doroshenko, Pylyp Stepanovych Orlyk, Dmytro Vyshnevetsky went down in history as great politicians and diplomats.
