This listing is for a custom made baby from the Noah sculpt by world famous doll sculptor Reva Schick. You will choose the gender, name, hair color, and clothing color preference. This \"Little Darlin\" would be a perfect addition to any collection. To achieve the most lifelike skin tones I use Genesis Heat Set Paints. I do not use pre-mixed paints, but prefer to mix my own color “pallette\" for each baby I create, making them each a one of a kind.

My name is Rita Meese and I am a full time reborn artist. I have been making these sweet, realistic babies for many years and have adopted them to families all over the world. I take pride in each baby created here, and only the highest quality materials are used. Every doll we make is given its own color pallette and attention to every detail to make it a truly unique baby. It is my goal that each baby that leaves the nursery be an heirloom that can be handed down and enjoyed for generations.

Genesis Heat SetPaint is applied in many thin layers to obtain a realistic complexion. Each layer of paint is actually baked into the vinyl, so it will never fade. There is subtle veining and blushing in all her creases and dimples. Many hours will be spent getting her complexion just right.

Noah will have 3/4 limbs and a soft vinyl, anatomically correct body that has a doe suede body inside. She will be stuffed with fiberfill and weighted with tiny beads in her head, body, and limbs for a very realistic feel. Her head will need to be supported just like a real baby. She will be so cuddly, you won’t want to put her down! Sand is never used in my dolls so international shipping is no problem.

She will be given the finest mohair available in the color of your choice. Colors range from palest blonde to black.

Noah\'s hair will be hand rooted a few strands at a time in a natural growth pattern. This process is very time consuming as it is done with a very small needle. The results are worth it!! The hair looks like it is growing right out of the scalp!

The hair will be sealed inside with waterproof glue so it may be gently wet and styled. I recommend a baby comb and brush as well as spray-in baby hair conditioner. I do not recommend combing or brushing dry mohair.

Caring for my reborn doll

Her nose will be gently opened and backed with dark felt for added depth and realism. The eyebrows will be painted on in fine, delicate strokes. I hand root wispy eyelashes to fill out her adorable sleepy look.

Noah will be given a manicure and pedicure for that just clipped look. The nails, as well as the mouth, will be glossed and sealed.

I take great pleasure in creating these beautiful, lifelike “Little Darlins.\" Each one of them finds a place in my heart as I watch them come to life. The truly comforting, joyful feeling that comes with holding a baby in your arms is a remarkable and blessed experience. When you hold your new baby, you can\'t help but rock her and pat her on the back!

Reborns made from portraits or pictures add $75.00. All our dolls come from a smoke-free home.

Noah will arrive dressed in a diaper, onesie, sleeper and accessories. She will also have two outfits of my choice, we will ask you for color preference, subject to availability. She will be snuggled in her soft custom-made fleece blanket or bunting.

Additional accessories include a hairbow and magnetic pacifier. Care instructions and a birth certificate are also included. Earrings may also be added for no extra charge. Please come back soon!

Custom dolls require your information! After payment, we will contact you for your preferences (name, hair color, etc.). If we do not hear from you we will have to make the doll at our own discretion.

Custom made dolls are made to the buyers\' specifications and are made to the highest standards. The buyer chooses many aspects of the final product, such as hair, eyes, and complexion. For this reason, Little Darlins Nursery is unable to give refunds on custom made dolls.

We do, however, stand behind our product. We are proud of our dolls, of our workmanship, and we do not ship a doll until we are satisfied. We stand behind our workmanship, the materials used, and our descriptions in the items.

If the buyer is not satisfied with the doll, please contact us with pictures highlighting the problem. If we believe this is our error, the buyer must ship the doll back to us within fourteen days upon delivery, at the buyers\' expense, with tracking numbers and delivery confirmation. We recommend purchasing postal insurance as well.

We will correct the defect to our best ability, and return the doll to you, return postage and shipping insurance paid by us.

Ready-made dolls (not custom made) are made to the highest standards. We only use new, quality materials. We strive to make a doll that will be a joy to you and last for years.

Ifyou arenot satisfied with the doll, please contact us with pictures highlighting the problem. If we believe this is our error, the buyer must ship the doll back to us within fourteen days upon delivery, at the buyers\' expense, with tracking numbers and delivery confirmation. We recommend purchasing postal insurance as well.

Little Darlins Nursery will choose whether to repair or replace your doll. We will replace your doll or correct the defect to our best ability. Please allow up to thirty business days for repair or replacement. We will return the doll to you, return postage paid and insured.

Often we get requests for pictures during the reborning process. While we certainly understand that you are waiting and want to see how things are going, we must ask you to consider a couple of things.

First, we are a very busy reborning nursery. We love what we do. If we have several orders lined up, David would have to take pictures of each doll (no we don\'t have a cell phone). We have found that it truly disrupts our abilty to make your doll and get it shipped in a timely manner.

Second, our goal is to provide you a wonderful experience. We believe it is important for you to see your baby when you receive it. The experience would be kind of spoiled if you see it all in parts, with no eyes or hair, no body, no clothes, etc.

Finally, our ultimate goal is for you, our cherished customer, to have the “awwww.....” moment when you first set eyes upon your new baby. That special feeling when you first hold him or her. That moment when you put your baby up on your shoulder and pat her little tooshie. That moment when you first set eyes upon her and look in awe at the fingers and toes, at the subtle veining, etc.
