Up for sale here is a circa mid 1950s to late 1960s Newcomb Macklin Company Picture frame. The frame is finished in a two tone color. It is lined with a thin cloth liner. The interior measurments of the frame are 16 1/4 inches by 21 inches and the total frame size is 22 1/2 inches by 27 1/2 inches by 2 inches thick. The frame is profile number 394592 and it is finished with a Metal A45 finish which looks almost like a brownish gold finish. The finish is original to the frame. The frame is in good condition with no cracks and the finish is in good shape. The corners are nice and tight. The original cloth liner is light brown colored from dust accumulation over the years but could be switched out if you choose to. The piece still has the old Newcomb Macklin label on the back that we were able to salvage when we took the old backing paper off. While this is a later Newcomb Macklin frame they still would have been quite expensive at the time they were purchased. With a little wider liner on the sides you could probably rig the frame to hold a 16 x 20 painting. Good luck offerding. Shipping is $59.00 to Europe and $38.00 to Canada.
