Excellent example of an early Western States lockback folding pocket knife, before they were known as Western and later West-Cut.I think thiswas produced in the 1920's or 1930's.Lever Lock knife, hard to find with actual lever and in working order, as they were usually snapped off. Blade is 4" in lengthHandles are thin pickbone with no cracks or breaks. The knife is in excellent working order, tight. Definate crisp locking blade. It appears this knife was sharpend but the blade is full. Nice original finish without a lot of stain and nearly no sign of rust and no pitting. Metal does have some scratches but I would say is in very good to excellent condition, in my opinion. It measures 5 5/8" closed length, about 9.5" open length. Brass liners. Half circle blade tang stamped Western States and Boulder Colo. straight across the bottom, and Cut. Co. above the city and state aspictured. Knife is as pictured, please feel free to ask any and all questions prior to placing your offer. No international shipping/purchasing.
