Cole was purchased by Powell Co. in NC which in turn was purchased by Covington Co. in GA. Covington still makes the large Hi Speed Planter Plates for the Cole and Powell planters.

New Other: means: Never been mounted or used, Old and/or Surplus Stock, left over Inventory (been sitting on shelf for several years). Original box may be damaged or not present (Bought Bulk did not come in a box or package for resale). May show signs of ageing, oxidation, fading, rusting, dirty, dusty, scuffed from handling, & etc.

Used: means: Has been mounted and/or used. May show signs of ware, scuffing, miner damage, & etc; but will function as good as a new one.

Parts Only: means: Damaged & etc and will not function as a new one without repairs if repairs are even possible.

If you feel my shipping and handling fees are too high, please don’t offer. I’d rather you move on than agree to and buy my items (knowing what the fees are ahead of time) and complain about it later. You want a bargain, I want a profit.

I don’t warranty anything. I guaranty item to be as described. I tell you what it is and how it is to the best of my ability. From there you have to ask questions. My word is my bond and I stand behind it. If you don’t ask questions, don’t complain. Find what you want somewhere else.

This is not a full time business with me so I don’t check or monitor E-Bay every day. If you buy, I ship within 3 business days after your money clears my bank.

First understand we are not here to take advantage of anyone nor do we want to be taken advantage of and we like to make a profit just like you. The price you pay is entirely up to you. You control the offer. If the price of the item is too high, you simply quit offerding or don’t start. The starting price is set for one reason. We can afford to sell it for that and nothing less because of the cost we have in it, Cost of item, plus selling expenses ($0.25 insertion fee per line item charged by E-Bay, plus a 9% selling fee charge by E-Bay, plus a 3% total transaction fee charged by Pay-Pal and that does not include other fees by E-Bay if you want to add more photos or enhancements or etc. (if you sell on E-Bay you know what we are talking about, if you don’t sell on E-Bay; I encourage you totry it) plus freight expenses.

Now we come to the Shipping and Handling. The shipping and handling is in addition to the cost of the item. We are already selling the item for less than market price or you would not be here reading this and looking for a bargain. The shipping and handling includes the cost of the freight (which we have no control of) but you know it is what the market will bear, plus fuel surcharges, confirmations, certified, insurance, NDA & 2day, and registered cost and anything else that the carrier can get for the services you want. Now we got the cost of material in boxing and taking to the carrier’s drop off point or the fee for them to come to us to pick it up (UPS normally $10.00 +). The handling fees are forboxes, packing material (boxes range from $1.29 up, bubble wrap is $.16 per foot, tape is $3.50 per roll, etc) and yes labor (nothing is free today) (time and transportation to take it to the carrier).

Before you criticize a seller for charging extra above the actual flat fee for shipping, look what expenses are incurred and by whom. What is the difference in paying $0.99 for a spark plug and $1.38 shipping and $1.32 handling or paying $3.68 and free freight (what is free?)? You are still paying the same. After the seller pays for the item, all charges from E-Bay and Pay-Pal and Shipping and Handling cost we get a little from the sell of the plug and a little from the handling but look who get the most. Before you get the urge to poor mouth and bad mouth the Seller for the cost of shipping and handling try it for a while and see what they go through.

You THE BUYER can control it all. You see the price of the item and you see the cost of the shipping and handling. If that is too much for you to bear, just don’t offer. Then the whole system bears the burden of high cost not just the seller and the seller don’t get the blame for every body else fingering in the pot which he has no control of. With the total cost of the spark plug (item, shipping, & handling) itemized out, you can see who is getting what part of the total and then write your commits. Seller: cost of plug $0.50. E-Bay: insertion fee $0.25, selling fee for the item $0.09, selling fee for freight $0.25. Pay-Pal: Transaction fee $0.11. Carrier: Freight $1.38. Handling: (box, packaging, transportation to the carrier): $1.32. Total profit to seller: $0.-22. If he don’t charge shipping and handling some way, he don’t stay in business long. Small Sellers have to be thrifty to just break even. \"Treat others the way you want to be treated\" even with your feed backs.

We areaware our shipping charges might be a little high. That’sbecause we hire out that function a lot. We also understand this causes us to realize less in offers.

However, you the customer are not affected by our shipping charge. Just figure out what you are willing to pay to have the item delivered to your door. Deduct our shipping charge and that’s the highest you want to offer.

There is no difference in paying $50 for an item with free shipping, $40 for the item with $10 shippingor $30 for the same item with a $20 shipping charge. You\'re still paying $50 to own the item!

If you are not happy with the \"TOTALDELIVERED\" price, please exercise your rightto not participate in this sale.

Purchaser pays all shipping & handling and applicable fees and charges unless specified differently in sale. Please check shipping charges before offerding. We do charge a handling fee above the cost of the freight. The whole point in packing is to do it right the first time to insure arrive in one piece. A box is not cheap, nor is bubble wrap, which cost 16 cent a foot. It takes almost an hour to properly pack a heavy computer or printer and the cost of packing material is close to $8.00 alone. They average 35 lb and it cost approximately $1.00 per pound. There are fuel surcharges and other charges added to the freight cost. If you feel the shipping charges are too high, please do NOT offer. We would rather lose the sale than to receive a poor rating for excessive shipping charges. Total shipping & handling cost will be stated on all sales.
