This sale is for an OK Cub 049A model glow engine, produced in the US from 1955. It comes with radial mount tank and exhaust deflector. The latter isn’t perfectly round, but the engine is otherwise in very good condition, turning over freely with excellent compression.
This engine belonged to the late David Owen, a gentleman who was well-known in model engine circles throughout the world. As well as making, selling and repairing engines, he had a large and interesting collection of them. With his passing, this collection must now sadly be dispersed.
David\'s collection contained a wide variety of items, from the rare and exotic to nice examples of more commonplace engines. Diesels, sparkies, glows, multi-cylinders and marine engines were all well-represented. Due to the sheer volume of items involved, it will take some time to work through them all, but if there\'s a particular item you\'re interested in, there\'s a good chance it\'ll turn up at some point.
I will do my best to represent each engine as accurately as possible, and am happy to answer any questions to the best of my ability. Obviously it\'s not practical to provide a full mechanical appraisal of each engine, but any obvious issues will be noted in the description. Please note that as this is a deceased estate, returns can\'t be accepted.
All postage costs include tracking. If you happen to win two items at the same time, please delay payment until I can invoice you with a correct amount which includes combined postage.
