This is a figure of an old black man seated on a bench. He is a reproduction cast in tin from a cast iron antique original (Grey Iron, circa 1940s) and is hand-painted by Leddy & Slack. The bench is also a reproduction of a cast iron original. The figure measures 1-3/4\" seated (approx. 1:32 scale) and would make a charming addition to any pre-war Standard Gauge or modern G Scale train layout.
This piece also fits nicely on the seats of the Standard Gauge Lionel #10 series passenger cars, such as the #19 parlor car. If you are interested in the figure without the park bench, please feel free to contact us.
