Hi and welcome to this listing for an On30 LOG LOADER KIT mounted on a Flatcar with rails on deck. This is a superbly detailed kit made by BACKWOODS MINIATURES in the UK. The listing is for the Log Loader and its Flatcar only. Phots 2 and 3 show the Loader coupled to an additional Flatcar. This additional Flatcar is NOT included in the listing.

Up for sale here is a kit for an American Hoist & Derrick Log Loader kit by BACKWOODS MINIATURES. Kit includes all parts to construct the Loader and the Flatcar on which it sits. Be aware I no longer sell this kit complete with trucks. The price of the kit has been reduced to reflect this. TRUCKS ARE NOT INCLUDED in this listing. Trucks must be provided by the purchaser. I use and recommend Bachmann\'s On30 archbar freight trucks - but many other trucks may be fitted.

Kit includes top quality photo-etched brass parts with crisply cast whitemetal details. The Loader\'s water tank and wheeled underframe are pro-moulded resin mouldings. Expect no disappointments.

Kit\'s photo-etched brass parts fold easily to shape via the half-etched fold lines provided. Parts fold easily using nothing more than fingers, tweezers or flat-nosed pliers as appropriate. No special fold tool is required. I don\'t own one. The Loader\'s curved cab roof and riveted boiler wrapper are pre-rolled to correct shape. Tab-and-slot construction is featured throughout, so parts fit where intended with no guesswork on the builder\'s part. The finished model comprises a series of sub-assemblies which helps aid painting.

Photo shows my completed display model assembled from this kit. I should point out that additional Flatcars may be purchased separately - but not via . You need to order those direct from me.

Fully detailed step-by-step photo instructions guide the builder through each simple assembly procedure. Kit is designed to be assembled using nothing more than screws provided and thin-type superglue.

Kit is supplied in a strong, leatherette-covered box for safe shipping.
