ParachuteRelease Box

This saleis for a Type B-2A parachute release box manufactured by Oneida.Stamped on the release is MIL-R-5897 and 45D18810. With researchingthe Mil code I found that the release should be from the Vietnam era: \"MIL-R-5897 - Release, Parachute Harness, Quick, Type B-2a.\"

This 4-point releaseappears to be in good working order. When you rotate the dial aquarter turn and push the dial in then three (3) of the four (4) pinswill release as designed.
