I would like to introduce you to my latest sculpt, \'Jeremiah\'... PLEASE NOTE: I am listing this sculpt as \'faulty\'...
During the final stage of the colour process, I had a mishap which stripped a part of the sculpt of it\'s many layers of colour. This happened mainly on the torso and part of the arm, so with an outfit, it would still display ok.
I have cleaned up the colouring, however I don\'t have time to strip it back and start again.
A great project to recolour, or to collect as is.
There are a couple of minor imperfections in the clay, (seen on the chest and shoulder, and on the upper back)This sculpt is an absolute one of kind (OOAK). Meaning, it was made free hand by me, without the use of any moulds whatsoever. This makes it the only one if it\'s kind in the world, never to be reproduced.Details:~ Hand sculpted from professional polymer clay, Prosculpt, using tiny tools, baby photos for reference and pure passion for sculpting :)
~ Armature was used as a base for strength.
~ Length; 4 inches.
~ Many layers of his AA skin tones were achieved using Genesis Heat Set paints, and will not fade over time. ~
~ Even though this baby was sculpted in miniature, no detail was overlooked in it\'s creation. I have attempted to capture even the tiniest of details of a real newborn baby; tiny wrinkles, folds and nail beds, just to name a few.Please scroll down for more pictures.
(Photos were taken indoors in natural, morning light in different parts of the room, so you can see the difference in shading. Jeremiah will arrive with the hat and blanket shown.
All my sculpts come with a signed Certificate of Authenticity. PLEASE NOTE: Sculpts are adult collectors items for display only, and are not intended for play or for children, due to being a choking hazard if broken.
While baked clay is sturdy enough, rough handling will cause breakages. Due to it\'s handcrafted nature, sculpts are not perfect. I believe this adds to their uniqueness and be aware of your country\'s customs fees/taxes. I package extremely well and send all my items with tracking, however insurance is up to you.
