Up for sale is an original ww2 German 84/98 K98 Mauser rifle combat bayonet in overall excellent condition. The blade is marked Coppel G.m.b.H., is spine dated 40 (1940) and serial numbered 7031d. The blade measures 9 7/8 inches long. The blade blueing rates approx. 95%. The blade has not been sharpened and is nick and damage free. The bakelite grips are crack and split free, just showing honest wear as you would expect in a combat bayonet. The pommel button functions perfectly. The scabbard is marked Coppel G.m.b.H., dated 1940 and serial numbered 341i. The scabbard has a few small dings on the reverse, nothing serious. The scabbard blueing rates approx. 90%.
