Up for sale are a pair of 1936 pattern RAF flying boots. These are original, not reproductions, and have the mileage to prove it. Over all they are in very good shape given their age. There are a number of scuffs and scrapes from over the years as would be expected. The sheepskin lining has begun to separate from the interior of each boot. On one pull tab is imprinted a crown symbol with “A.M. SIZE 8 FITTING 6” and a serial number. The other tab has “A.I.D. 9” ink stamped on it. I am a US size 9 and these boots are a bit tight on me, so I would guess they are more like a US size 8-8 1/2. Truly a great opportunity to complete that RAF Battle of Britain uniform!
