Original M1889 German Cavalry Saber. Rare Double Ring Scabbard! Saber is really nice, but please see pictures. Has Prussian Eagle on guard. blade and scabbard seem to have been nickle plated at some time and as a result mot of the etching on the blade is illegible. Some surface rust scattered about and the dark brown grip has three cracks that seem to have been repaired though one has a small chip missing. Overall a very nice saber with the rare two rind scabbard (which I am told is a very early feature). Scabbard seems to be missing separate throat. though its hard to tell it is ever had one.
